Kinda curious, if you just leave it on all day long or you prefer to shut it down when you are done with what you are doing.

Usually 3-5 hours because of school. I don't leave it overnight unless I have to seed.

same here... I only leave it on when seeding these days... i used to all day but my new fan/heatsink are a bitch to clean so the less often i have to do that the better

just dont turn it off

so much easier only time i reboot is for updates/ installs

i dont turn my off at all..

I turn it off at night if Im not seeding too... Othervise i make it "sleep", not turn it off.

is it bad to keep it running non stop? I mean I occassionally reboot it for updates and such but its usally on 24/7

Been running all day long but i do shut it down during nights when i go to sleep.

It starts to slow down and will eat up your hard drive space with temporary files. Every time you restart it deletes temporary files and speed up again.

pagefile is also a reason for slowing it down. Clear the pagefile and you will be fast again.
