I dont usually shut mine down as I run stuff while Im asleep (seta and peering usually) altho I do reboot when Im cleaning/tweaking it...I find it tends to run more smoothly if u dont keep turning it off

Probly a real stupid question... But who voted that they dont have a pc ?

Could either be 2 things. One they are joking. 2, maybe they are at work on a workstation. That would mean they dont have a personal computer.

well i'm constantly restarting my computer so for 360 shit but I havn't experienced any slowness at all... im happy with my pc

I always leave mine on. Actually all 3 of them. Weeks and months sometimes.

usally about 12 hrs

Matters if its acting up that day, Untill I sell my 360 Im going to be left with a historic comp.

The only time I leave mine on over night is if I'm downloading something (legal, of course -- the f.e.a.r. mp comes to mind). otherwise, i don't see the point of leaving it on.

I normally leave mine torrenting 24/7, but sometimes people will come into my bedroom and switch my computer off, or I may just switch it off at night because its stopping me getting to sleep.

Even if the power goes down I have a emergency generator so my PC since brought never goes down

I leave mine on all day because i hate booting up m pc.. and im seeding legal torrents so

Dont lie to people , just admit that you are leaving it on, so you can level up in WoW

I never shut it down, unless power goes off!

...or I'm gone for several days.

Yay! Holz posted here! If people keep the same pc case for a few years they will notice that the power on button will start to mulfuction due to the continuous press of it.
