I use avg too, but seeing these post about nod32 i might have to check it out.

wow i just checked out nod32's website and it rates pretty high. i also like how its low on resources. hopefully i can get a "scene release" hehe. sry im broke.

can any one that uses nod32 tell me what firewall they use?

NOD32 rocks. It protect´s ur PC and it will not eat ur CPU power.

I find that Norton uses too much power. So I use AVG right now. It is really light on RAM and CPU.

kaspersky has the best virus detection buts its http scanner is a resource hog. still, if i want a virus detected and removed for sure, i would use kaspersky.

avast for free users (free antivir if you like to download everything you see. detection as good as kaspersky)

o.o where would i obtain NOD32? is it like my Norton >.> buy at the store or do you buy it online?

EDIT: btw i switched from norton to Defender pro 15-in-1 wich is a newer type of anti-spy and anti-virus program.
So nothing yet has attacked my PC and actualy caused problems like it did when i had norton (Norton sucks alot >.<)

I use Kaspersky on one computer, Norton on another.
Norton uses a lot of resources but apart from that its seems ok..
Kaspersky is just generally good..

I dont understand NOD32, is it the same as the others? Because I downloaded a trial and it didnt run in the background it was just an on-demand scanner?
Did I get the wrong version?

personally, if you want to be protected make your own firewall, and use the best av, which happends to be nod 32 this year. But if its a very average hacker, hes rolly gonna try and bind his stuff so its not detected, but most are detected anyway. If its a more adv hacker then hes using ud progs, and all i can say is good luck.
