Nod32 ftw. BTW Zonealarm Has only firewall I think no AV protection but I might be wrong. Norton too heavy on resources. Trend micro is good but it has some exploit here. When installed our ISP gets dced by a Windows Exploit but this is just in our area. And has been notified to our ISP but I wonder when will it get rectified lol

nod32 ftw!
i agree with that whole heartedly... the most popular av programs (which are to me norton & mcafee) are obviously what those who create the viruses, etc are going to target to get the maximum damage... i think that is what makes kav, nod32, etc better... just no one bothers with them b/c only the more computer-literate, if you will, use them...

i bumped this thread though to see what version of nod32 you guys are using...

im currently using 2.70.16... but i see its up to 2.70.39... wondering whats new if anything...

i like kaspersky more... but i upgraded to 7.0 & it makes my units on aom/aot invisible & ****s the game up b/c of some stupid anti-injection shit that makes the combopack screw up lol... that and the lag mentioned by vf i do often notice, it isnt bad, but compared to nod32 (which i have never seen any from) it is...

kav is just more user-friendly imo... looks better, etc... which causes the lag lol

also wondering if anyone has tried the kaspersky internet security thing... i have kav & kis 7.0... on the site though they pretty much have the same exact description minus kis having a firewall... but that would mean theres 2 avs, etc?... and it wont seem to let me install kis with kav either... makes no sense to me... to nod32 i go...

btw... dont try to use kav & nod32 at the same time... you wanna talk about lag... holy shit does that lag

Norton sucks really bad and uses up so much system resources. I use AVG now but I'll switch to NOD32 as soon as I get a copy of it..

i use AVG, but Kaspersky is the best simply because it wins almost every benchmark test that its put in over the rest.

I like NOD32 because it is easy to use, it has a strong and big virus database and real-time protection.
