Interesting info, I did NOT know that it wasn't confirmed for the pc. Let us know if it is, cause I am not going to buy an XBOX360 or PS3, until they drop in price.
personally i thought call of duty 2 was a excellent game. I enjoyed playing and recieving all the gamerscore achievment points available for it on xbox 360. It was one of the few games where I actually felt like I was there at the front lines in Germany. Very enjoyable, and very excited for cod3 =)
CoD2 is only good for the multiplayer. That's how most sequels sell, their multiplayer is better and they put less focus on the single player missions/storyline.
Last I heard it was NOT going to be out for PC, I did hear it was going to be on the new nintendo wii which is going to rock. I wonder if I can use the nunchucks in the game lol. As far as the PC goes I heard they are going to go the way battlefield2 did and create a modern comabt game. Lets face it, wwII has been totally played out and frankly Im getting tired of them.
I kinda agree. There are way too many WWII games out there, very few of them are good but they are enough to make you feel tired of the whole concept after a short while.
It is very true that CoD and CoD2 had the best atmosphere ever saw in war games but i think that CoD3 will have no point even to be released for consoles. All war scenes have been covered, except pacific ocean but that will lead to BF or MOHAA, not sure if they wanna do that. On the other hand, all modern warfare games have no good atmosphere, especially those Black Hawks and Ghost Recon (dunno about the last one) were crap. I was fighting and i was barely understood i was actually shooting, or i was actually getting shooted. Crap.
Last but not least, if CoD3 becomes best seller in consoles (similar story to Halo), it will become available for PC as well. Much larger market, dont forget that alot of people like me and all my friends have only PC and no console. You can imagine that there are alot of guys like us .
I find WWII games like CoD, mohaa etc. the best for atmosphere which is why i play them. I dont like futuristic games except the weapons are usually interesting for a while FEAR is the only futuristic one I like really.. Things like UT, HL2 arnt as good
Awww man, it has to be for the PC . I mean sure I've got an Xbox 360 and a PS2 but its so much better on the PC, the controls for the PC are simple and easy to use. I dont like the Xbox's Controls they are to sensitive even when you change the sensitivity, besides can you cheat in Multiplayer on the Xbox or PS2
U can probably make cheats but its much more difficult, so ur not gonna get public ones Ive got a feeling its gonna be more difficult to cheat on the PC for this game anyway. Im not gonna risk getting a GUID ban with a game that will be so good
