Hi , im looking for a FREE screen recorder. In the past ive used Fraps but thats aload of crap . It takes up like 2gb for like 30seconds of recording.

Any recommendations

Well i just used gamecam to record aom and its ok ... not great cuz i cant get the interface back up just the ' Ready To Record ' Bar thingy up. Ill try Camtasia studio now

i use soft screen recorder rly good program

well ive just uploaded sum videos i did which ill be posting in aom section in a couple of minutes on youtube. The quality with gamecam is terrible. Ill try see if i can find soft screen recorder.


( also could u post link for the download cuz i can only ever find trails or buying it )

we don't support warez on the forums, so you'll have to track it down on your own if thats the route you wish to pursue

from what i read snagit is supposed to be very good too

Im downloading snagit now ill tell you if its any good.

i just tried it, i like it... it doesnt capture in HD which i wish it would, but of 15~ programs reviewed it was rated the best/had the most features and the video is fine... im just an HD whore


Edit: it even has a built in web capture... type in the address and it goes out & gets all the images from it lol... this among other things... definately a good program

Dm anywayz , i dled it and ' Attempted ' To use it , way to complex for me. Even tho it might be simple WOW so much stuff to do with it. I only wanted a simple easy to use screen recorder.

Is it good quality ? and how much space do the videos take up on average
